Gilsons

The musical trio known as Gilsons was established in 2018 and consists of Francisco, João, and José Gil. Along with incorporating elements of pop rock, samba, reggae, and Bahiano rhythms, it also alludes to the classic MPB music of father and grandfather Gilberto Gil. Following a strong run of releases, which featured the hits “Várias Queixas,” and “Devagarinho”, the band released their debut album, “Pra Gente Acordar”, which was nominated in September for the Latin Grammy “Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese Language”.

Presents Reverbero, her latest work, blending genres that have shaped her journey while honoring the roots of Brazilian music. At Festsaal, she shines on piano and asalato, traveling from São Paulo to Berlin alongside Guilherme Monteiro, with special guests Diego Ain, Daniel Camiranga, and Danny Ayrosa. The concert fuses rhythms such as forró and coco with pop and R&B, creating immersive arrangements influenced by soundtracks and electronic elements, Mari’s signature, under her own musical direction and the artistic direction of Tábata Zeronian.
